Chirimiri.
Cuando llegan los vientos alisios, en Islas Canarias cambia el tiempo.
Los alisios son vientos que vienen desde el norte y traen la humedad del mar. Al chocar esta corriente contra las islas más altas, el aire asciende y se condensa, creando nubes.
El mar de nubes queda retenido contra el formidable volcán Teide y hay muchas partes de la isla donde hay niebla y otras donde llueve más o menos grueso.
Me gusta mucho cuando cambia el tiempo así. Entonces, se va el calor y aparece un tiempo brumoso, muchas veces acompañado de Chirimiri.
El Chirimiri es una suave llovizna. En algunos sitios lo llaman calabobos. Como su propio nombre indica, si uno no se protege termina completamente mojado y empapado hasta los huesos. Esto lo saben bien en el el País Vasco donde llaman a esta forma suave de llover Txirimiri.
El otro día hubo Chirimiri en Tenerife y las plantas se llenaron de unas finas gotitas. Así que raudo hice unas cuantas fotografías, cuando todavía no estaba todo empapado.
He modificado unas cuantas y las he ido editando en el móvil. La fotografía no es solo congelar un instante. El proceso de edición también posee un aspecto creativo que a mi me seduce. Creo que es donde mi vena de artista aficionado sale a relucir.
Me gusta acercarme a las cosas y hacer un macro de ellas para obtener una nueva realidad. Las flores vistas de cerca, y el verode, me demuestran algunos aspectos que no había percibido antes.
En esta ocasión, quería resaltar el efecto de las microgotas en las hojas, así que hice nuevos encuadres. Quise fijarme en determinados detalles que me resultaron llamativos. Por ejemplo, no había reparado en las múltiples pilosidades que tienen las hojas.
Para aumentar su potencia visual, he oscurecido el fondo hasta llevarlo a lo mas oscuro. Cualquier objeto sobre negro es mucho más impactante. Aquí os muestro la foto original, los pasos de la edición y el resultado. Espero que así podréis entender lo que intento explicar. Espero que os gusten.
Chirimiri
When trade winds arrive, the weather changes in the Canary Islands.
The trade winds are winds that come from the north and bring moisture from the sea. When this current hits the highest islands, the air rises and condenses, creating clouds.
The sea of clouds is held against the formidable Teide volcano and there are many parts where there is fog and others where it rains more or less thick.
I really like it when the weather changes like this. Then, the heat is gone and a foggy weather appears, often accompanied by Chirimiri.
The Chirimiri is a gentle drizzle. In some places they call it dungeons. As the name implies, if you don't protect yourself, you end up completely wet and soaked to the bone. This is well known in the Basque Country where they call this gentle way of raining Txirimiri.
The other day there was Chirimiri in Tenerife and the plants were filled with fine droplets. So quickly I took a few photographs, when everything was not yet soaked.
I have modified a few and have been editing them on mobile. Photography is not just freezing for a moment. The editing process also has a creative aspect that seduces me. I think it's where my amateur artist's vein comes out.
I like to approach things and make a macro of them to get a new reality. The flowers seen closely, and the verode, show me some aspects that I had not perceived before.
On this occasion, I wanted to highlight the effect of the microdrops on the leaves, so I made new frames. I wanted to look at certain details that were striking to me. For example, I had not noticed the multiple hairiness of the leaves.
To increase its visual power, I have darkened the background to the darkest. Any object over black is much more shocking. Here I show you the original photo, the steps of the edition and the result. I hope you can understand what I am trying to explain. I hope you like them.
Cómo lo hago
Hice las fotografías con mi iPhone X. Para la edición utilicé la aplicación Snapseed y para la firma digital usé la App Watermark.
Los dibujos los hice en el iPad con el programa Sketches.
For the photography I use my iPhone X. For edition I use the Snapseed application and for the digital signature the Watermark app.
Everything I did on my mobile phone, I did not use the computer at all.
For the drawings, I use the Sketches program and paint them on the tablet.
