Hello Steemians! My introduction to the steemit world # Lets Rock!
Namastey(Hello) ladies and gentlemen, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome myself and as well introduce myself on a deeper basis.Myself RAKESH KANWAL,nick name ROCKY.
I'm 25 years old.I live in a city in the northern part of INDIA where the weather is nice and warm and the view is beautiful. Here is a picture of me trying to look nice 😁
before I talk about my likes and interests let me give a general overview of my life in a village of India.
I love to be INDIAN and life of a village
Like I said earlier I live in the northern part of India. Kurukshetra is a city in the state of Haryana, India. It is also known as Dharmakshetra ("Holy Place"). It is also known as the "Land of Bhagwad Gita". Kurukshetra lies at distance of 160 km from New Delhi and about 80 km from Chandigarh - city with the nearest airport.
According to the Puranas, Kurukshetra is a region named after King Kuru, the ancestor of Kauravas and Pandavas, as depicted in epic Mahabharata. The importance of the place is attributed to the fact that the Kurukshetra War of the Mahabharata was fought on this land and the Bhagavad Gita was preached here during the war when Lord Krishna found Arjuna in a terrible dilemma. The population of Kurukshetra was 964,655 in 2016 The weather is nice and cool and good for relaxation. most of us like to live life peacefully, eat good food, take awesome pictures and enjoy 😁
Where I come from, there is a village name called kanwar kheri the people are nice and friendly, air is good, rivers and streams are cool and great for swims. The soul of India lives in its villages, 60 percent of the population still lives in villages of India. Indian villages have a very beautiful and attractive lifestyle. The Villages are free from the hustle and bustle of a city life, villages are peaceful, calm, quite and full of greenery where one can breathe fresh air. The beauties of villages are described by the way villagers happily live in the small huts or a home, made by clay or mud. A big open area with trees at the front and a vegetable garden at the backyard, surrounded by the bamboos. The villagers are socially knit together, every evening they assemble in the village “Chopal” with their ‘hukkas’ and chatting and talking goes on till late the night.
Most of the people who live in villages are farmers, other works as potters, carpenters, blacksmith. Bull’s are use for farming and other activity in field. Women work planting the rice paddy, while the men work pulling bullock carts, tilling new soil etc.The educational status of the people in the villages of India is not so good, some of the villages even don’t have school. There are no water supply, no indoor toilets and no electricity. River water, well or hand pump are the main source of water. Life in the villages of India differ from one region to another, these Indian villages contain the list of famous tribal groups in India. The life style of villagers are very clean, sweet and simple. They don’t dream for big house, vehicle, money etc, whatever they got that is enough to live their life happily
I'm a cost accountant and working now as a self-employed like entrepreneur. But that's not my passion.I want to explore myself into different varieties of work and enjoyment.i like to play cricket and volleyball.I love Bollywood and Hollywood both. Shahrukh khan and Dwayne johnson is my favorite. I like to take pictures of people, like to capture the moment. i also like to take pictures of the beautiful things around me and I believe everything has an element of beauty in it, we just don't see it most times.I love animals and i m a vegetarian.
i am a huge fan of great photography so i look forward to seeing interesting and amazing contents related to them on steemit
.
***What I observed ***
Observing this social network has brought me to the conclusion there is lots of open-minded people and content present, I highly admire that, since only open-minded we can strive for changes and different reality than this one. Two weeks has passed since I made my account and I have been trying to read as much content as I could, some of it impressed me a lot and the rest a bit less, but I can see the effort in everything and in general the positive veil that surrounds this community – being the thing that excites me the most.
It seems to me like Steemit will become forerunner of future journalism, and the potential that lies behind the whole platform and concept in general sounds really pleasing to me – I’m well aware where could this bring in the future and I’m sure this is just the beginning. In this latest phase of my life, I began raising interest for the term of cryptocurrencies and slowly I’m becoming more and more hyped – as I think they offer us opportunities to take what is ours again and differ ourselves financially, it seems to me like the “small” and ordinary people are getting their chance of racing to
financial freedom again.
So that's a brief and proper introduction of myself, hope to hear from you guys and see interesting contents too.
Thank you for the chance to welcome myself, I hope we will work on our communication relation in the future! Meanwhile, I will try to ensure a better tomorrow for myself. Wish everyone have a great evening! Cheers 😊
