Hi Steemers! My name is Keni and I am from Sydney Australia.

I have wanted to write about some of my interests for a little while now, but there is probably not enough content to make it ‘one topic’ focused, so I am going to use my Steemit account as a mixed bag of blog posts about hobbies, how-to’s, reposting of things I like, and as a way to engage with similar and likeminded people :)

Some hobbies I have and would like to write about on Steemit:

Urban Exploring [urbexing]

From the Wiki: Urban exploration (often shortened as urbex, UE, bexing, urbexing and sometimes known as roof-and-tunnel hacking) is the exploration of man-made structures, usually abandoned ruins or not usually seen components of the man-made environment. Photography and historical interest/documentation are heavily featured in the hobby. Urbex or urban exploration may also be referred to as draining (an alternate form of urbexing where drains are explored), urban spelunking, urban rock climbing, urban caving, roof-topping, or building hacking.

I plan on posting my current adventures, and using Steemit as a way to archive my older explores too.

Japanese cars

I would like to use Steemit as a platform to do write ups on my cars I own and have owned, and cars I have built for others too, previous work I have done. I worked in the automotive industry for about 8 years and have experience in building drift cars, fibreglassing, spray painting and panel beating.
With the stagea, I would like to write up how-tos as I fix and repair things in my car – they have a double unicorn on the badge for a reason! The information can be quite hard to find, not converted to English from Japanese, or there are no pictures of the parts, so I would like to make that available for other Stagea owners and enthusiasts :)

• Homesteading – self-sustaining, tiny houses, container houses, renewable energy, livestock. [I’m a big believer in growing veggie gardens instead of grass!]
• Philosophy/Spirituality - Alan watts, Carl Sagan, Terrence McKenna, Aldous Huxley, George Orwell, the list is ever growing!

I’m excited to be part of this and thank you for having me, I am looking forward to contributing and getting involved with the Steemit community.

I will end with an excerpt from my favorite poem, The Pale Blue Dot by Carl Sagan.

I like to read this for a bit of perspective sometimes, and a reminder to take care of our earth =^.^=
