Hallo zusammen,
auf der Suche nach einem Song für Openmic 49 bin ich kurz bei einem deutschen Lied gelandet, dass ich seit Jahren immer mal wieder spiele. Großartiger Text, trauriges Lied, genau richtig :)
Ich hab mich dann später doch für "Where Everybody Knows your Name" entschieden, der Contest ist doch hauptsächlich englischsprachig.
Allerdings hab ich bis zu dieser Version viel Energie in die Nummer gesteckt und wollte das dann auch mit der deutschen Community teilen :)
ps diesen Text konnte ich mir leider noch nie merken ... entschuldigt bitte :)

on my search for a fitting song for Openmic 49 i stumbled over this german song that i play every once in a while. It featues great lyrics, is a sad song and therfore kinda suits me perfectly.
In the end i decided against it and favored "Where Everybody knows your Name", because the english lyrics are just fitting better into the openmic contest. Nevertheless i put a lot of energy and effort in this song so i wanted to share with all of you and especially the german community.
ps i will most likely never be able to sing this lyrics out of my memory, sorry for that :)

Danke für die Erinnerung an dieses Lied! Ich habe das Element of Crime Album damals rauf und runter gehört. Mittlerweile schreibt Sven Regener ja eher Bücher.
ja schade drum, sven regener ist ein begnadeter texter, gerade auf diesem Album sind die texte extrem gelungen :)
