Me recuerdan tanto a mi vieja Pancha, en el patio de su casa abundaban estas matas, que crecían por todos lados, dejando después de que sus diminutas flores secaran unas bayas de color púrpura intenso, que mi abuela solía colocarme en cataplasmas sobre las picadas de insectos irritadas, calmando así el ardor y la picazón.
Solanum nigrum, es el nombre científico que recibe esta planta, la que después de tantos años descubrí que es usada en infusión como sedante, antiinflamatorio, antipirético y purgante, y que incluso el abuso de ella puede ser fatal, esta planta es usada incluso como insecticida para los sembradíos. Sin duda los abuelos tienen sus secretos y los van transmitiendo de generación en generación
