(Introduction) Vanilla is too plain for me.

Hello internet, this is my first time writing something in the internet. Usually i am just a reader but my friend urged me to do some writing especially on my modding hobby. As the title says, vanilla is too plain for me.

Why?

Lets take an example, like Grand Theft Auto. Its a fun game to be played. What if you can be an Iron Man while chasing the train? Driving a Bat mobile at the Los Santos? Now that's much more fun to play!

But only using someone else work is only half of the fun. How about you make it one?

During the year 2012, i used to play a game called as Microsoft Flight Simulator. Its not really a video game as it is more to a realistic simulator. While i searching for a new paint job for the airplane, i found out there is not much of Malaysian theme in the mods library. *I'm from Malaysia

This ignites me an idea of doing it by myself. By doing some research, learning skills to use graphic software and some technical skill, and here we are the first paint job released on the internet, Thai Smile Air Airbus A320-200

Ironically, the first paint job is not a Malaysian but a plane from Thailand, haha

Then i joined a Malaysian flight simulator group called as Malaysian Flight Simulator Group (MFSG). They have many talented group members and they also very supportive and encourage me to make more paint job. Yeah i know paint job are not really mods but it is a mods.

Malaysia Airlines Boeing 747-400, the retro livery. This may ignites some memories from the old ones.

After a while, i become quite busy due to study and life issues. Then my friends recommend me a new game called as Grand Theft Auto V. They say to me that this game is great to be mod. Also, it would be great if i can make Los Santos feels like home, where you can see a Malaysian police chasing burglar of something like that.

And so, here we are. For those who are Malaysian, you would recognize this right away!

But that's not all of it, you haven't seen i changed all of the metro station to become a LRT station! For those who dont know, LRT is a medium of transport in Malaysia operated by RapidKL. Its a Light Rail type of train. This mod is the most time consuming as it took the whole 3 weeks to find and replace the texture in the game. The file is separated and most of it are far away from each other. Its quite challenging but i still managed to finish it.

Currently i'm studying 3D Animation and VFX at a local university called as Multimedia University. Here i can sharpen my skills on graphic software and most importantly is the 3D part where it could use the knowledge to make my own model ! That would be interesting!
