Typhoon Haiyan

in #taclobanph7 years ago (edited)

At exactly November 7 2013 8:30 in the evening mother decided to find some hotel in our area but it seems all of hotels are fully booked. But somehow we are so lucky to find one.

<center€While me and my brother just messing around like, there's nothing to worry about because we were immune on that situation.

Living in a tropical country is normal for us to deal with typhoon whick we call here in philippines "bagyo"

November 8 exactly 5am at the second floor of the hotel. Roofs are crumbling and windows are shaking. The sky is so angry that i never seen before in my entire life and so hard to explain how terrible it is. Then suddenly water or surge rise up and flooded the whole city we helped the people where are on the groundfloor of the hotel and asking for help and we didn't think twice to knot some towel to make it a rope me and my family get the job done and the other guest on the 2nd floor if the hotel.

We helped them rescue them thanks to god!

After the massive amount of water occupie the whole area which result of many deaths. Kuya and papa decide to go home to check our house.
But that terrible horrifiying typhoon ruin our house. We are so lucky at that time because the rice that we put on the drum didn't get wet. I cant imagine what it looks like after bagyo hits the area.

A day after bagyo hits the area we dont know what to do. what we really care on that situation is how can we survive living on a messed up town with no electricity for months no food everything. Then we decide to go looting but we only loot for food because whats on our mind is how can we surivive in this without food and clean water.

Then suddenly things changed bad guys or guerilla came to town and ask for food water everything that we stock they want to take it. So my mother decided to leave the town immediately leave the home leave the land leave everything we have to escape a terrorism stuff and for our security.

We take the free trip of the philipine navy boat to cebu, a part of visayas. When we got there a very welcoming and a overwhelmed feeling because cebuanos are there waitinf for the ship and getting ready for help they put their doctors, food, stall, everything needed for the survivor people of tacloban. It was very emotional since our tummy is empty and we have nothing left in our pocket.

Dswd in cebu assistance helped a lot they gave us slippers clothes food cash and a ticket accomodation to go to our destination which is our relatives in surigao city.

Sometimes we need to be strong in a calamity situation and trust God all the time. Humanity comes along the way with a glimpse of eyes and a pound of heart never forget God!

Special thanks to tsu tzi master chen yen, unicef, samaritans. And all of those people out there who helped us during that time. We will never forget you! God bless!
