SCARED TO DEATH
I could go nuts staring at my helpless baby go through photo-therapy--a treatment for jaundice which involves exposure of an infant's bare skin to fluorescent light in lieu of the sun's rays, since too much sun exposure is harmful to our skin, especially to a baby's delicate skin. Hence, his pedia recommends direct sun exposure only up until 7a.m.
Time was so slow during photo-therapy sessions. There were so many what ifs in my mind: what if he would feel cold because he is naked; what if he would be blind because his blind fold had loosen; what if he would be dehydrated of too much heat, and the list went on and on.
I would ask every nurse that checks on him if my baby is just okay being nude. I would turn off the air-condition since he might be cold. It was the scariest moment by far. Happily, we were discharge from the hospital after three long days.

If only we could go through those hardship for them.. beautiful post!
Exactly! 😓 My heart was crashed. 😢
Beautiful post.
Thank you so much. 😊
A mothers love is unconditional.. A mothers strength is her kids but at the same time its her weakness also :)
Yeah, that's why we have to know where to strike the balance. ;)
Such a good Mom... Beautiful Baby....
Oh! Thank you! :-)
Beautiful post @gingbabida.
Thank you, Ma'am @floridagypsy.

Thank you, Dadoy! :)
All is well! You are a brave mom!
Thank you.
I miss holding a baby..😊
Then have another one. Hehehe! :) Just joking. :):)
I was born a yellow baby, jaundice aye. My father built dem billy light in our house when my ate and I was born because we were both jaundice babies... Because my mum and dad's blood weren't compatible, their own blood in our veins were toxic for us. It's some kind of racial thingy.. I guess my dad's spanish inheritance clashed with mums mixed blood as well.. but no worries, your baby will be fine, she is a fighter! Just have faith in God and all will be well!
Oh! That's a different case. My son had already eaten his bowel that's why he got infection. :( But with Jehovah God's help, we passed through it. Thank you for sharing your story, too. :)
