Tabletop and 3D printing - Dwarf Statue
I completed a 3D printed dwarf statue yesterday. First and foremost to see what the result would be like after putting some paint on the fellow.
The plan is to use this statue in RPG games or scatter terrain. I really need two or more. Good thing I can just hit the print button.
Some progress photos. This is the first print I have been using "support". All those areas which hang in the air, in this case it would be the arms.
As you can see support then will print a layer which will support these areas and avoid them falling down while printing.
At first it looked like it would be impossible to remove them but once I got my pliers it went easily enough.
Then I hit him with 3 layers of airbrush paint. Black, grey and a bit of white. Could probably do with a wash and some drybrushing as well.
Or perhaps the next one should be bronze coloured.
This look like real stone
Yeah thats the effect I was going for!
Good work then :)
it's look like real stone
Yeah totally agree. It still need a dark wash and a quick drybrush.
