Valentine's table

in #table7 years ago

With this post today I open a new page in my blog: the one dedicated to the
Ideas for the table. Let start with Valentine's table ideas!!

You'll immediately notice how the light and neutral tones will master it but, for this day, the red can not miss at least in detail.First of all, no tablecloth. A nice runner with light colors, rope preferably or white, so that you and your half sit in front of each other as if you were at a restaurant.
Dishes, glasses and cutlery in neutral colors.
And now let's come to the red.The particularity of the table that I propose to you is given by fruit-fru placeholders that look like red roses on the plate, by scattered hearts and, invariably, by a candle: white, red or with hearts like mine no matter, what matters is that it creates the right atmosphere....
Ready to create placeholders together?
Required for 1 placeholder:

  • 2/4 red napkins
  • a scissors
  • a stapler

The number of napkins will depend on the number of tissue of which each one is composed.
If you see that each sheet is "split" into two velinas, you only need 2, otherwise 4.

  1. Open and cut each napkin halfway
  2. Overlapping all halves obtained
  3. Fold to accordion on the short side and stop in the middle with a stapler
  4. Give your placeholder a rounded shape

At this point the game is done!
All you need to do is "explain", widening and spacing them apart, all the velvets and voilà. Your placeholder is ready.
Doesn't it look like a beautiful red rose? Your table is almost complete.
At the center, place a candle and a rain of red hearts all around (you can make by drawing on a red card) - even with the help of a biscuit cutter - the various shapes, which you will gradually cut out.

I'm not very good at making crafts but the napkin technique is very good and it is easy to do, I'm going to try. Greetings dear friend @actormohanlal
