The world is a system
There is not one side of our life that the general theory of systems would not concern. Any solid object consists of any parts connected in some way. Human communities, living organisms and their half-systems, insect colonies, mineral deposits, planetary, stellar and galactic systems, radio and television systems, atomic, political, humanitarian, environmental and other systems. In short, everything that surrounds us is all systems. The notion of "system" pervades everything that fills the World, in which we exist and develop.
Consequently, the theory of systems is a general theory about everything. Such a theory should explain the need for the existence and arrangement of everything from elementary particles, atoms and molecules and to the whole universe, including the evolution of man. We see our World in development, therefore, it could have a beginning and there may be an end. If so, the theory of systems should show how our World emerged and who or what created this system, if it had a beginning, why it changes and by what laws, why there is life and its development, explain the evolution of all non-living objects and species of living beings, to show the direction of this evolution and its stages. And if there is an end to it, the theory of systems should show how and why this end will be. And if there was no beginning and there will be no end to the World, then why is the World eternal.
If the World is one and in principle know, then only the theory of systems can be the guiding thread that passes from the very bottom, from elementary particles and maybe even lower, to the whole Universe, passing through man and connecting the World in a single whole. A more grandiose task than the one that faces the theory of systems, there is no other theory. If the World itself is a system and is filled with systems, then the experts of all fields of knowledge, not only of physics, electronics or information, but also of biology, medicine or, let's say, philology, need to know the theory of systems, because our knowledge is always knowledge about those objects of the World , which are systems.
However, until now there is no such theory, because there is no unambiguous definition of the very concept of "system", it is not known what the details of the structure (anatomy) of systems should be, it is not clear what distinguishes one class of systems from others, etc. In short, there is no classification of systems. We can determine the structure of the systems in each particular case, but we can not determine those mandatory elements of the systems that must exist for any systems by their definition and by the necessity of their functioning. We have many classifications of different systems, but these are private classifications, while there must be one and a single classification of absolutely all systems, because the world is one and the system itself.
