Is It Wise to Ignore China's Role in Syria?

What is strange about the reporting below is there is no mention of China's role with helping to reconstruct Syria in the aftermath of war hostilities.

The US claiming it won't help Syria where Russia and Iran are present is moot and perhaps only a big deal as reported by western media. Frankly, most nations with a vested interest in the Middle East region wish the US would just go away, its presence pretty much only guaranteeing further military conflict.

Aside from Russia's obvious and understandable economic interest -- Russia now provides Europe with oil -- blocking oil access from Saudi and Arab Emirate nations into Europe, It would seem logical to assume China's Belt Road Initiative (reopening ancient Silk Road land and sea trading routes) would hold the greater interest for stability in Syria, and that China will act accordingly.
