Syrian conflict report || 13 Feb 2018
- SDF transferred their forces from fronts against IS to the Turkish border. IS is now fighting pro-US local military councils allied with Kurd SDF.
- More US army troops and vehicles have been deployed to pro-US Kurd group, SDF (Syrian democratic forces) held northern Manbij to protect them from upcoming Turk operation as Turk foreign minister announced their plan about attacking Manbij and Kurd held areas west of Euphrates river near Turkish border.
- Turk forces with pro-Turk FSA rebels have captured new areas in Afrin enclave. Turk air force also claimed to destroy vehicle garage of Iranian militias in Jaindres city of Afrin.
- Several reports revealed that a number of Russian mercenaries also killed in the US airstrikes east o Euphrates some days ago. Number of killed mercenaries from Wagner group could be a few dozens but exact number is not confirmed till now.
- After 5 days of deadly fights, rebels eliminate IS Idlib/Hamah pocket by killing dozens of IS fighters and arresting remaining 320 IS members with their 80 women and children. IS was trying to enter Idlib countryside after they burned Syrian defense lines and reached to the rebels held areas. IS sleeper celss are still working in Idlib's several areas and assassinating rebel leaders & fighters as 2 of the rebel figures killed recently.
- After finishing their offensive in Hamah/Idlib, Pro-Assad Syrian forces planning to launch their new offensive against besieged rebel pocket of Hams.

The Russian mercenaries story could be bigger news of it actually got covered.
I agree with you, some sources are even saying that hundreds of Russian killed in that strike.
Numbers are highly doubt able but this report says more than 200 Russian contractors may have been killed in the US strikes.

It's looks like US becoming a new terrorist in Syrian part. How many lives will sacrifice again with these conflict if interest.
There are many more terror groups and powers in Syria other than ISIS !
