Steemit syndicates as (decentralized) newspapers 2.0?

I think that Steemit syndicates made of people with complementary writing skills and competences, as well as access to diverse information streams, could be the seeds for a new type of decentralized newspapers and magazines. In such a newspaper 2.0 environment, for a start authors would pool financial resources (like founders in any startup) to build a reasonable SP initial balance and acquire some visibility. Next, revenues would be split across authors in a fair and transparent way based on the breakdown of upvotes for individual articles.
