Apocalypse of Isaiah: For with fire and with his sword the LORD will execute judgment on all people. Isaiah 66:16

Isaiah's prophecies have left a deep spiritual content throughout the entire biblical history. Isaiah with his clairvoyance predicted to King Hezekiah the destruction of the Kingdom of Judah at the hands of the Babylonian empire, but also the prophecies of Isaiah that were reinterpreted served to keep the Jews deported in Babylon in the fear of God (constancy, firmness, devotion).
Isaiah was surely one of the most talented prophets in the field of prophecy, along with the prophets Daniel and Ezekiel; and his divine prophecies even reached what is known as the apocalypse, the day of final judgment, a time when there would be final retribution, for both the righteous and the sinners.
And about this, Isaiah, like the apostle John in the Book of Revelation, does not speak about the end of the world or its destruction, but about an end of times, which is different. The resolution of the problem of evil must reach its conclusion, and the times of sin or error must give way to the times of the divine grace.
This is why the prophet Isaiah ended his book in a very mysterious way, Isaiah prophesied the arrival of a heavenly Jerusalem with these words:
"As a mother comforts her child,
so will I comfort you;
and you will be comforted over Jerusalem" Isaiah 66:13.
To then end with that moment in which men will be separated according to the path they have chosen, as explained in the Psalm 1, the Psalm of the Two Ways, blessedness for the righteous, and misfortune for the sinners:
"The hand of the LORD will be made known to his servants,
but his fury will be shown to his foes.
See, the LORD is coming with fire,
and his chariots are like a whirlwind;
he will bring down his anger with fury,
and his rebuke with flames of fire.
For with fire and with his sword
the LORD will execute judgment on all people,
and many will be those slain by the LORD" Isaiah 66:14-16.
The prophecies of Isaiah are a teaching about the importance of the gift of hope for all who fear God.
