Red Square (Russia, Moscow)
I just can not imagine myself, I come to Moscow and go around Red Square, on the contrary, I will resort here first, at least so it was always when I visited the capital. The first time I came to Moscow for a seminar that was held in the suburbs, and the next day already train home, what to do, after all, and want to walk, and time to spare, well, of course, I chose Red Square.
Every time I come here with pleasure, and not only I, on holidays here a huge number of people come, that not only to go to the territory of the square, on Manezhnaya not turn around. On the Red Square there are always various interesting events, the most perpetually perishing for me will be the parade in honor of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, and let me watch it on TV, the spectacle is truly breathtaking and impressive, and of course concerts, New Year's fairs, all this can be done visit on Red Square.
My first impression of Red Square was: "Is that all? Are you serious?" The square is really not as big as I imagined, I saw more, and much more, and Red is something very compact, but very interesting.
To the right of the Resurrection Gate you can see and certainly visit the State Historical Museum, there is also a souvenir shop, but the prices go off scale, and the appearance of souvenirs is not pleasing to the eye, it's better to postpone purchases before walking through the Arbat.
This tower does not need additional representation, one of the main heroines of every New Year, precisely for the sake of its hours the Russians make coveted desires, they hope that everything that has been conceived will necessarily come true, every schoolboy knows the Spassky tower by illustrations in textbooks.
And finally we approached the most delicious place for me - it's St. Basil's Cathedral. What a beauty - I can spend hours examining every curve of this beautiful structure, I do not get tired to marvel at the splendor of colors, so this church looks festively. Immediately before the cathedral you can see the monument to Minin and Pozharsky
I can not visit this temple in any way, today it is certainly a museum, but I know for sure that I will set aside time and examine everything properly and walk around the Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed.
One of my erroneous childish delusions is that any main square in each city is considered Red, and in any way my parents could not dissuade me, even then for me Red was associated with something major and large-scale. This is clearly the main area of the country. This is a special atmosphere of the holiday, even on an ordinary gray day, because we come here to say hello to Moscow.
