Hello my dear friends and readers of my blog. Today I want to invite you to a virtual tour of Western Ukraine. We go to the real valleys. We do not go just so. This will be a trip to big jeeps. In the Carpathians it is a kind of attraction. This trip is called rafting.

Привіт мої любі друзі та читачи мого блогу. Сьогодні я хочу запросити вас на віртуальну цікаву подорож по Західній Україні. Ми вирушаємо на справжню полонину. Вирушаємо ми не просто так. Це буде подорож на великих джипах. В Карпатах це своєрідний атракціон. Назвається така поїздка - рафтінг.

Our journey begins with the picturesque village of Mykulychyn. In this village gather people in groups of six people. The journey takes just four jeeps. It's very cool. Fresh air, mountains, beautiful views and a very professional driver. Before climbing the meadow, we are taken first to a small waterfall. The waterfall is really small, but very beautiful. We are given 15 minutes to take photos. At the same time, the driver of the jeep (guide) tells us interesting stories.

Наша подорож починається з мальовничого села Микуличин. В цьому селі збирають людей у групи по шість чоловік. У подорож вирушає відразу чотири джипи. Це дуже круто. Свіже повітря, гори, чудові краєвиди і дуже професійний водій. Перед тим, як піднятися на полонину, нас відвозять спочатку до невеликого водопаду. Водопад дійсно невеликий, але дуже красивий. Нам дають 15 хвилин для того, щоб зробити фотографії. Водночас водій джипу (екскурсовод) розповідає нам цікаві історії.

Let's go further. From all sides we see the amazing beauty of our nature. Stop on the pass. Again, a very interesting story about the ancient times, about the partisans and about how the guerrillas hid in these mountains. Again we are given 15 minutes. We admire nature, flowers and make pictures. Then we are waiting for adventure.

Вирушаємо далі. З усіх боків ми бачимо дивовижну красу нашої природи. Зупиняємось на перевалі. Знов дуже цікава історія про давні часи, про партизан і про те, як партизани ховалися в цих горах. Знов нам дають 15 хвилин. Ми милуємось природою, квітами і робимо фотографії. Далі нас чекають пригоди.

Throughout the journey, the whole road was covered with holes and mud. But this provided the peculiarities for our journey. It is very interesting to overcome obstacles on jeeps. Ahead the valley. In the valley there is a large sheep's flock. From the very early spring shepherds gather the flock and go to the mountains until late fall. There is a house for shepherds. By the way, the house for shepherds is called Kolyba. 

Впродовж всієї поїздки вся дорога була вкрита ямами та багнюкою. Але це надавало особливості для нашої подорожі. Дуже цікаводолати перешкоди на джипах. Попереду полонина. На полонині велика отара вівць. З самої ранньої весни пастухи збирають отару і до пізньої осені уходять в гори. Тут є будиночок для пастухів. Доречі, будинок для пастухів називається колиба.

Shepherds can not descend from the mountain every day, so that milk from sheep does not disappear, cheese and cheese are made on the mountain. Already in the late autumn, when the shepherds give the sheep to the owners, cheese and cheese are given together with the sheep. The shepherds pay salaries well.

Пастухи не можуть кожного дня спускатися з гори, тому, щоб молоко з вівці не пропадало, на горі виготовляють сир та бринзу. Вже пізньою осінню, коли пастухи віддають вівці хозяїнам, разом з вівцями віддають сир і бринзу. Пастухам добре платять зарплату.

We spent about three hours in the meadow. Time to go home. The most interesting moment was the ascent to the highest point in this valley. This mountain is called the Lisniv. Again take pictures. Admire nature. I promise to the mountains that I will return. I'm in love with the mountains. Mountains are my home.

Ми провели на полонині близько трьох годин. Час вирушати додому. Найцікавішим моментом став підйом на найвищу точку на цій полонині. Це гора, яка називається Лісів. Знову фотографуємось. Милуємось природую. Я обіцяю горам, що я ще повернуся. Я закохана в гори. Гори - це моя домівка.

The wolves often come to the mountains at night. In order to protect the sheep from shepherds there are hunting rifles and good dogs. Dogs are taught specially to protect the sheep and to ensure that the sheep are not lost. In the meadow we were treated with shepherd's soup. This is a very tasty soup. This soup is cooked with sheep meat and mushrooms. Even in this soup add a lot of parsley. We were treated with homemade vodka, which was tasting on apples. We were delicious.

На полонину дуже часто вночі приходять вовки. Для того, щоб охороняти отару у пастухів є мисливскі рушниці та гарні собаки. Собак спеціально навчають, щоб вони охороняли вівць і слідкували за тим, щоб вівці не загубилися. На полонині нас пригощали пастушою юшкою. Це дуже смачний суп. Цей суп варять с овечого м' яса та з грибами. Ще в цей суп додають багато петрушки. Ще нас пригощали саморобною горілкою, яку настоювали на яблуках. Нам було смачно.
