House of the sun. Odessa

Odessa is a beautiful city in Ukraine! By European standards, Odessa is a young city. It was founded by Catherine II in 1794 when the Russian Empress decided that the country needed a port on the Black sea to expand its ties to Europe. Once on the site of today's Odessa was an ancient Greek settlement, then lived here Crimean Tatars. They were replaced by the Ottoman Turks, who founded the fortress Hadjibey, which was captured by Russian troops in 1789.

The sights of Odessa truly fascinate with its unique beauty.

By historical standards, the hero city of Odessa is still very young, but its history is rich in many significant events that have left their mark on the arSea... I love the sea. It is never monotonous, uninteresting, because every day, even every minute it is different. Mysterious, fickle, immense-it excites the soul, does not leave indifferent the heart.chitectural appearance, as evidenced by the main attractions of Odessa, and the nature of the inhabitants and their attitude to their homeland – the most colorful southern city.

Today I want to tell about an interesting monument in Odessa on Langeron called "house of the sun."A brilliant creation of the artist and sculptor Mikhail Reva.

I dedicate this project to the Sunny boys and girls living and coming to the RED CITY... it is an old Odessa door, which had a great life, stretching for two centuries. In the XIX century it decorated the main entrance to the Odessa house, and proudly met and accompanied residents and guests... she survived the stormy XX century of revolutions and wars, tragedies and disappointments, victories and successes... and finally, in the XXI century, her path came to an end - the door was replaced by an iron one. I really want its history to continue, because it is the history of our beloved city. It should not be forgotten. The door changed the pine clothes on bronze and opened the shutter on the Odessa embankment. Right at sunrise. Let this door be the front entrance to the house of the Sun. And let people make their cherished wishes coming up to it. They will definitely come true!»

I really liked the idea of the author! Beautifully decorated door on the waterfront attracts everyone's attention.

It's never empty. Everyone comes to take a picture and admire the sea and ships. The door is located in such a way that every morning the sun Peeps into her house. This was the author's idea. And it looks very beautiful, magically.

I am very glad that new cultural monuments appear in Odessa!

Next to the door is another interesting monument to the bike. It looks very nice!

The monument is made in the style of the old Odessa front door of the 19th century in bronze.

My hometown is Odessa. What poetic names doesn't have it! Hero city, southern capital, southern Palmyra, pearl of the sea, capital of humor! It is unique and the only one in the world.

Arriving in Odessa, you will always feel at home, no matter what area of the city you are not found. Sincere neighbors will be the people around you, like in a big village. Be sure to come to Odessa!
