Hi!

Turkish cuisine attracts with its abundance and variety of flavors. Experts count more than 2205 drinks and dishes.

I can't even say that I didn't like what I had already tried. Turkish hostess great cook. As they all keep up, the puzzle. After all, every family has a lot of children, and relatives who constantly come to visit.

Turkish husbands do not touch the household. Unless you assume that all the cash expenses tend to lie on their shoulders. Some families have a routine: the wife writes a list of what you need to purchase a home, and husbands are all regularly performed. But I often see women with three children and five bags coming from Turkish markets.

Food in Turkey is not only a restaurant culture, but also a demonstration of the welfare of the family. The Turks constantly go to each other's homes, and the tables are always groaning with food. From evening to late at night for friendly gatherings, the hostess shows the guests his culinary skills.

Very interesting fact: on average 42% of Turks lay a table on the floor. I had a long time to get used to it when we went to visit. If guests come from other countries, a regular table is served. There is a cafe where you can dine on the floor. But street cafes in the Turkish style arrange small tables and chairs.

In every district of Istanbul, there are social places where the poor can eat for free. They are presented in the form of large pots, which are located on the stove. A bowl of soup and the second dish will receive anyone who will come. It is interesting to observe how in the big holidays, the state allocates money for a festive lunch or dinner. Cover huge tables, anyone can eat. On all religious holidays tables are necessarily served at The blue mosque. Once saw a few cars drove up to the square in Uskudar, with huge pots of food. I've never seen such pots.

Some cafes and restaurants in Turkey offer free meals. Tips that are left to the waiters are collected in one box office. Then the money to prepare 1-2 meals. If a person has an unforeseen situation, he can always order these dishes and not pay. Around the city there are places where hanging on the racks of fresh bread in plastic bags. Thus help the poor.

I like the Turkish tradition that has existed since Ottoman times. When the family a child is born is a great holiday. Everyone should know about this. All friends of the family distributes sweets. In modern Turkey, you can buy them in the store. To sweets as a gift insert a small souvenir and the inscription with the name of the child.

Many Turkish women are engaged in such business. Sweets and Souvenirs are made to order. There are a lot of children born in Turkey. Therefore, this business brings the mistress a good income. Some sign a contract with shops and constantly supply new goods.

Street food is booming in Turkey. Prepared quickly and served efficiently. There are different catering establishments. Some specialise in specific dishes. For example, fish establishments are called Balık lokanta/Balık lokanta or Balık restoran/balık restaurant. Lokanta is a canteen-cafeteria. Salmon is a fish.

I really like mussels stuffed with rice. On top of them sprinkled with lemon. We always like to indulge in such a delicious dish. You will be in Istanbul, be sure to try it!

On the seafront in Istanbul there are many Büfe/Buff. These are fast food stalls. Very tasty and inexpensive. I suggest you try a sausage in tomato in a Turkish bun. Within greens and pickles. Delicious!

There are many mobile carts in Istanbul. Usually they sell chestnuts, corn, Turkish pastries.

Fried and boiled corn is a popular street food. Tasty and satisfying. Turks are very fond of corn.

There are places called Döner salonu / dener salon. Doner is a Turkish gyro.

The meat in dinero may be different, except pork, of course. The Turks are very tasty cooked denery!

Today's prices of doner kebab in Fatiha. Istanbul

I love Lahmacun very much. This thin bread cakes with a layer of minced meat, tomato, onion. Vegetables and herbs with lemon are served separately. The cake needs to be watered with lemon. Put all the vegetables on the tortilla. Then roll into a tube and enjoy. The dish is great, and the cost is ridiculous.

Kokorec is a dish of the Ottoman Empire. This is the king and God of street food at the Turks. I was afraid to try this. Spit roasted sheep offal in a bun with greens.

Kind of not very, but the dish is delicious. Kokorec is the most popular fast food in Turkey.

Cinnamon is served with pickles and peppers. Little peppers are like pulling out your eyes, very sharp.

About fish already wrote. Fish cafes at every turn.

Almost all cafes are decorated very nicely, many pictures of modern and old Istanbul. Not uncommon Russian-speaking waiters. Visitors in all Turkish institutions are accepted as kings. In every cafe there are people who zasyhaet to visit their institution. Often the Director of the institution stands at the entrance to the cafe or restaurant and invites everyone.

Casserole with mushrooms, meat and vegetables. Cooked in the oven.

It is difficult to imagine Turkish cuisine without salad and vegetables. Everything is richly watered with lemon. But lemon is always served separately.

Iskender Kebab is another popular and my favorite dish in Turkey. Lamb marinated in a certain way. Thin slices of lamb roasted on the fire. Then spread on a flat cake. Served with Turkish yogurt and melted butter. Of course, comes with a lot of vegetables. The dish is great! Be sure to remove the sample in Turkey. In Istanbul, there are restaurants called "Iskender", I advise you to taste this dish there.

Turkish bread and cakes are always delicious.

Pide salonu / Pide salon. Small cafes that serve a flat cake in the form of a boat. Filling can be different. We can say that this Turkish pizza. The dish is very tasty.

Turkish ayran is one of the most popular drinks. With different Turkish dishes, we always order ayran.
