Get acquainted with the village Frunzovka
Frunzovka belongs to one of administrative-territorial districts of Odessa region. To date, it is a urban-type settlement with developed infrastructure, rural and Central councils, self-governing public organizations. The total number of residents in the VILLAGE is no more than 6 thousand people, the area of the settlement – 7.7 m2.
History
The history of Frunze district is notable for the fact that the village was founded in 1791 (it is one of the oldest settlements in the North-West of Ukraine), but the area and the regional center were allocated only under Soviet rule in March 1923. This is due to the fact that almost until the end of the 18th century, most of the Cossacks (including Frunzovka) was under the rule of the Turks and Tatars. Neither Russia nor Ukraine itself did not really know anything about these lands and, accordingly, could not dispose of them.
At the end of the 18th century in the Russian Empire virtually nothing was known about the region, as it for a long time was taken by the Turks and Tatars and was considered unsuitable for agriculture and settlement, respectively. But when the lands were annexed to Russia, it turned out that he has a sufficient number of settlements. Among them was the village of Zakharivka. Which was founded by serfs and Pridnestrovian Moldovans.
The government generously distributed land to landowners on condition of their settlement. But local farmers were against such aggressive land tenure, what was the reason that the Imperial government was forced to allow the peasants to leave the manor grounds, and sometimes even buy plots of land. But not everyone could take advantage of such benefits.
During the period of active study of new lands (19th century) from travel reports and surviving archival documents it became known that this area was created by fugitive serfs and was considered extremely productive in relation to: farming, hiring cheap (tax) labor and carpentry.
Archaeology
The 20th century for Frunze district was marked by the entry into the era of industrial recovery, and at the same time with the appearance of valuable archaeological finds. During the construction of factories and factories, steam mills workers accidentally found in the ground-a large burial Chernyakhovskaya culture: coins, household utensils and more. The age of the discovery was dated 3-4 century ad, which in itself is amazing.
After that, an expedition was sent to this area, which conducted a number of studies and found the remains of the Mesolithic settlement preserved almost in its original form (13th century BC).
Further coins, jewelry, objects of a cult and fossils relating to an era of the Mesozoic period and a Paleolithic were found.
From history to modern times
February 16, 2016 by the resolution of the government of Ukraine with the permission of the local authorities, Frunzivka was renamed Zaharievka. This is due to the attempt to preserve the ancient culture and identity of the people, return to the roots.
