Kiev Puppet Theater!

Do you want to get into a fairy tale? If yes, then no doubt you need to visit the Kiev Puppet Theater! It was there that we visited recently with children !

The building of the theater is a majestic structure, reminiscent of a noble estate of the 17th-18th centuries, or a fairy-tale castle. Tower clock, numerous balconies, terraces, sculptures of fairy-tale heroes ... Later I learned that the building was brand new, built in 2005, and in just one year. Three-story fairy palace! Around such a castle it is pleasant to walk with children without even going inside. The theater is right in the center of the city (next to the European Square). Generally seeing him from the outside do not even suspect that such a building in such a place can be given to children.

Right in front of the theater there is a fountain with a sculpture of Thumbelina made of metal and glass. Around the theater of sculpture, Papa Carlo with a hat (attached to him you can take pictures, as if your hat), Malvina with Artamon, a little further from the entrance of Kotygoroshko with the serpent.

Having crossed the threshold of the theater the fairy tale continues, a marvelous interior, magnificent scenery! In addition to the beautiful performances with which my son admires from the incomplete three years there are still many interesting things worthy of your attention: frescoes depicting fairy-tale characters, in the wardrobe there are two huge aquariums, several exhibitions of dolls, on the top floor "fabulous interactive space" where you can sit (take a picture) on the throne. The museum's exhibits can be viewed and touched by small spectators.

The repertoire of the theater is very diverse and it is possible to choose a performance according to the age of the child and there are even performances for adults! We really enjoyed it and Cape looks forward to our next trip to Kiev to visit the theater again!
