Game industry is getting excited about Nintendo Switch Short Intro-2
At last Nintendo Switch will be released on March 3. Apparently, it seems that web browser is not installed at launch time. That was clarified in The Verge interview quoted from Time below .
According to Mr. Tatsumi Kimishima, president of Nintendo, "Web browser is not supported to make Nintendo Switch a wonderful game platform, at launch time." Well surely, if you are a game-only machine you may not need a web browser.
Even before, Nintendo Switch was reported not to support video streaming service like Netflix or Hulu at launch time. However, It may included as future updates too.
However, it is not sure a browser will be necessary for the game play. Perhaps it may be add in the future updates as additional feature or change.
