SWIRGE PROJECT UPDATE
Swirge Platform went life on the 25th of September 2019, 12pm GMT for Public beta Testing, and so far we have over 120 registered account users on Swirge!
This is an improved development though slow but its steadily moving ahead. On the 17th of October 2019 we updated the Swirge Platform from version 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 and the Software version still remains v1.3.2. We updated Swirge platform to optimise the website loading speed, as well as fix our module design to better suit our users. We are currently working on a new version for Swirge (v1.2.0)and a new version for the software (v1.4.0) these new versions will come with a new minor fix on bugs, optimise website speed, a small touch on user design interface and PWA (Progressive Web App).
Currently we have a total of approximately 3000 OKU coins in existence and still counting. These coins were issued out to users who registered on the platform and received their free 50 OKU coins airdrop and to the active users as well as Bounty payments.
We are currently working on our in app wallet design for users called Swirge Wallet. This web wallet will support the deposit and withdrawal of OKU coins as well as other Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) as time goes on we will open support for more Cryptocurrencies. This is a Decentralized wallet in which all Swirge users will own access to their private keys and not us (the company).
OKU coin Use Case
After the pass few weeks since our Public beta launch we have been asked how we plan to create value for our coin OKU.
OKU coins will be used for these cases:
- Users who want to boost or promote there posts on Swirge will have to pay for the service with OKU coins only.
- Users who want to run adverts on the Platform will have to pay for this service with OKU coins only.
- Users who which to upgrade their level quickly can do so by buying the upgrade using OKU coins only.
- Users can trade their OKU coins to other Cryptocurrencies and or their local currencies directly from Swirge Platform.
- Users who want to deploy their Decentralized application (DApp) on Swirge Operating system will be charged transaction fees in OKU coins only.
And many more use cases to be added...
