Interesting article about the high Mississippi River water level and what might be done about it. Finally some news that makes sense. I've been beating the table about more fresh water diversion up and down the River for a long time, and now it looks like others are saying the same thing. Right now we push the high water into the Lake where people don't want it, we should be moving it through the marshes where its sediment rich water is badly needed.
