Suzuki GSX-R1000R

Suzuki had been a major player in the supersport class since the launch of the first GSX-R1000K1 in 2001. However it became less competitive from 2007 onwards as it got bigger and heavier. The big news came in 2017 with the introduction of the MotoGP-inspired GSX-R1000 in two versions, the basic and the “R”. The aesthetics and power of the “blue thunder” make it the superbike par excellence for many.

To celebrate the hundred years of the Japanese firm, in 2020 they renewed the GSX-R1000R, both in aesthetics and power: 199 hp with 117.6 Nm of torque.
