I had no idea that construction had such an impact from an environmental point of view. I'm in Vancouver Canada and while there's a lot of growth and development here I haven't seen the emphasis on the green aspect of construction. I learned so much about sustainability spending time on Great Barrier Island of NZ. It runs off solar and rainwater and it totally works. Coming back home it felt like we were very wasteful in the use of our resources. Thanks for an eye opening post!
