日本といえばやっぱり"お寿司"！　 SUSHI - the most popular Japanese food!

皆さんこんにちは旅猫です。

今回は日本のお寿司のご紹介！

お正月は皆さんお寿司食べましたか？

日本ではお祝い行事にお寿司を食べる習慣があります。

家庭によっては、お祝いの日以外にも昼ご飯や晩御飯として普通に食べることもあります。

Did you eat sushi in New year?

We have a tradition of eating sushi at celebratory events in Japan.

Otherwise, we normally eat sushi for lunch or dinner.

どんなお寿司が好きですか？ What kinds of sushi do you like?

みなさんお寿司と聞いて、どんなイメージを持ちますか？
How about sushi what sort of image do you have?

握った酢飯に、さしみがのった握り寿司？　酢飯とは（お酢と砂糖を加えた寿司用のご飯。）さしみとは（スライスされた生魚の料理名）

握り寿司は一般的にはお寿司屋さんで食べることができます。また、スーパーマーケットの寿司コーナーでも購入することができます。

Have you imagined "Nigiri-zushi"? It is sashimi (sliced raw fish) on rice.
Generally, you can eat Nigiri-zushi in the Sushi shop or you can get it in the supermarket in the sushi section.

または、寿司といえば、海苔で具材が巻かれた"巻き寿司"を想像する方が多いのではないでしょうか？

巻き寿司の中に巻く具材は特に決まったものはなく、卵焼きや、キュウリ、カニかまぼこ、てんぷら、海鮮いろんなものがあります。

最近では簡単に巻き寿司が作れるキットもあるので、誰でも簡単に巻き寿司を作ることができますよ。

Or Have you imagined Maki-zushi (sushi-roll)?　I think a lot of people have the image of the sushi-roll.

Many different combinations are possible. For example fried egg, Cucumber, Crab fish cake stick, Tempura, seafood etc.

These days, we can make sushi-roll easily with the sushi-roll kit.

酢飯の上にいろいろな素材がのった"ちらし寿司"を知っていますか？

日本のお寿司には実はいろいろなスタイルがあります。地域や、家庭によっても違いがあります。

Do you know the Chirashi-zushi? It's some sort of sashimi on the sushi rice.

There are different sushi styles in different regions.

日本には回転すしという寿司レストランもあり、安いもので一皿約100円～安価で手軽にお寿司をたべることができます。
At the "sushi train" (conveyor belt sushi restaurant) you can eat 1 plate of sushi from about 1 USD, cheap and easy.
