SURVIVING THE IMPENDING MELTDOWN

There has never been a post that I have asked the community to resteem and share before this one. I don't consider myself a fatalist, but rather a realist. With the coaxing and guidance of my son @ryan313, over the past seven years I have been able to gather the necessities that will help us survive with the mayhem that is comming. All indications are that events are lining up and in the not to distant future we will be caught up in a scene never experienced before.

It is never to late to begin preparing for the possibility that the mayhem already in progress will bring us to our knees.

In this blog I will share with you what my son @ryan313 and I have done.

Buy precious metals. I started buying seven years ago. All of my metals have been purchased from https://www.jmbullion.com Just a little at a time. Gold is at a bargin right now. $1300.00./ ounce. Gold can be purchased in smaller weights than an ounce.

1 oz. American Gold buffalo

1 oz. American Silver Eagle $17.49/coin

Silver Eagle Proofs. More $ per coin because they are proof coins and therefore carry a premium.

Junk Silver, so named due to the condition of the coin. Not a collectable coin. It is important to have Junk Silver because it gives you smaller denominations to use.

Fiat. When the ATM machines are disabled and the banks will not let you get at your own money, have some tucked under the mattress, or better yet in a safe with your precious metals.

Have at least a three month supply of food. https://secure.food4patriots.com/ This is a great company and they are presently giving away a three day sample package. The shelf life of their product is 25 years.

Have a supply of your own food. We vacumn seal all of the produce we grow and can usually store about a years supply, consuming it as we go. Dehydrating or canning also provides you with a way of storing food.

Being able to supply your own power is also essential, Short term solution is to have a generator on hand with a stock pile of at least 50 gallons of gas. Additives can be put into the stored gas that keep this vital potential energy in good condition.

Long term solution would to have some sort of alternative energy. When these solar pannels were purchased they were rather costly, but they are now sold for a fraction of the price.

Have a way to communicate. Short wave radios are key to being able to stay in touch and are a ball to use at any time.

Water, water water. This can not be stressed enough. Containeirzed water is a simple solution. I am lucky enough to have a source of fresh water all around me.
Surface runoff and a natural spring keeps our pound brimming throughout most of the year.

Having guns in the house is a personal choice, but when the s--t hits the fan, you may be happy that you had one tucked away is a safe place.

When possible, have an alternative way of producing heat.

Faith. Back in the day one of my hobbies was working with leather. This piece was done in 1978 and hangs in my kitchen. Faith may be the one thing we all fall back on, if God forbid things come to pass that will alter our lives forever.
