"The Roots" for Surreal Art Contest
SURREAL ART CONTEST
Hello everyone!
This is my entry post for the #surrealart contest organised by @sethlinson.
The theme of the contest was any kind of surreal art and it is open to all kind of artists. That's why I decided to use my skecth blok and 4H pencil to start to search some ideas.
Usually, I really like working on trees so my hand directly started to draw some kind of trees. At that moment the idea occured, this image came to my mind. "A book can take root in our minds like a tree" was my sentence.

I really enjoyed while working on that. In one point I wasn't very happy with the result and I was about the give up. I decided not to submit it and I kept drawing just for fun. In the end realized that the work was taking shape and it was going well. I'm glad that I completed it.
