Preincarnation
Manchmal bin ich auch für Bands tätig. Im Fall von Preincarnation, einer deutschen Female-Fronted-Prog-Metal-Band kam der Drummer, ein Bekannter von mir, auf mich zu. Ihm gefiel eines meiner Bilder so gut, dass er es gerne als Cover der ersten CD wollte. Das war eine Ehre für mich und auch eine schöne Aufgabe, denn um ein bestehendes Bild herum ein ganzes Artwork zu gestalten inklusive Booklet, bereichert das ursprüngliche Bild um ein Vielfaches. Zum Glück waren in diesem Fall auch alle Requisiten des Bildes noch vorhanden, so dass ich nach Belieben damit herumexperimentieren konnte.

Unfortunately, the album is not finished yet, so I want to show only a few parts of the layout and then the rest for release :) For a complete artwork of course, you need a correct T-shirt, which I have also designed. The band logo was created by another artist.

I can understand why they would ask you to do this; your work is perfect for album art and resembles their music; dreamy, beautiful and unique. Will the shirts be for sale on the facebook page?

This is awesome, @patschwork - I especially love the first image in this post: just wonderful! I also listened to your friends' music and I really enjoyed it. Do they perform any of their songs in German? (I'm a huge fan of Rammstein and I love that Till sings in his native tongue - the German language suits this type of music very well, in my opinion)
