#STEEMGIGS: (TIL(Today I Learned)) —Learning needs Collaboration

This is a followup to my yesterday's trending post titled: DON'T HOARD KNOWLEDGE as featured in @surpassinggoogle and #steemgigs .

It dawn on me that knowledge sharing is a ladder to success where one climbs and in a moment is seen seen at the top. @surpassinggoogle and @busy.org are my case studies.

While musing on this, I remember that I have participated in many Multi-level Marketing (MLM) Schemes. Some were favourable while the experience I had with others were horrible. Yes! Sharing has always been the modes-operands of all MLM. Within the system, risk is shared and profit is shared though not on the same scale.

mlm.jpg

Take a look at the image above. Everybody in the down line assumes a leadership responsibility of sharing the values, risks and profits to his invitees and the chain continues. Other persons later discovered the need to work as a team. The user at the first tier does not rest just after inviting five (5) persons, go to rest, he understands that the more the down line grows, the more his profits and referral benefits accrues. If any leg on the third tier fails to grow, then the first-tier leader gets tucked in the system.

Back to our subject of discussion, every time we share ideas with others, we are simply doing a multi-level marketing of our ideas. Whenever the recipient criticizes either constructively or not, certainly, value has been added to the idea.

Here is what happens!

You are shown the loopholes in your idea (where the critique was offensive) or how to improve and make your idea better (where the critique was constructive). In all, value has been added.

If your idea was shared in the academic/research community where plagiarism is a critical offense, then, you might have had a cite of your article and consequent referencing. This helps your idea to grow beyond the shores of your influence to the reach of your critique's influence.

SHARED KNOWLEDGE IS NEVER WASTED BUT DECORATED

In one of the comments from the trending DON'T HOARD KNOWLEDGE post, @evegrace wrote:

I see in this post a ladder to success. This post makes me to remember that we all stood on the shoulders of others to see the future. As such, no one can categorically say that that they are independent. Hoarding knowledge will be the height of ingratitude and ungratefulness. Thanks to @surpassinggoogle for always opening up his treasure bank for others to drink for. I am blessed.

This is a clear indication that we never achieved our feat alone. Even God Himself didn't have to exist alone. He needed fellowship with man, He even had to make consultations before creating man. The Apostle Paul climaxed it when he pictured the church as a body with many parts/members and that each part needs the other to survive.

Note that:

OUR LIVES ARE MADE UP OF THE PIECES OF OTHERS' LIVES

I will love to shoutout to @surpassinggoogle who brought my posts to limelight through @steemgigs and @steem-untalented as well @busy.org team who made blogging easy for me when learning the html code was a little more difficult. Today, I always recommend @busy.org to my new invitees and they have enjoyed the ease of blogging.

@surpassinggoogle has always been unique in his way of promoting a particular tag with the sole aim of focused curation of stemians devoid of reputation who post in such category. This provides a levelled field for all to thrive and especially for newbies with good contents to come to limelight. In the process, he makes indelible marks in the hearts of many steemians who fan him. Such tags include #teardrops #steemitisbeautiful #steemgigs #undistalented, etc. This ideology is a form of collaboration. Moreover, https://steemgigs.org/surpassinggoogle/undistalented is a platform for a zero ICT individual to have a great blogging experience.

Earlier today, I joined the @busy.org discord channel: https://discord.gg/fuuGNJS. There I stumbled the innovations made by @gregory.latinier to allow for the managing of more than one account.
https://busy.org/@gregory.latinier/steemconnect-is-now-able-to-manage-multi-accounts
This reminds me that the @busy.org work as a team as such, great feats are attained. While they are busy trying to decentralize the blochachain and add value to http://steem.io, @busy.org gets more accolades and recognition. Such gestures are what constitute collaboration.

Other great communities of worthy mentions are @stach @air-clinic @minnowsupport @steemitschools @steemiteducation @steemchurch @sndbox @scripture-union @christian-trail which have showcased collaboration and am a witness to the impacts created.

When we sow into the lives of others, we only end up extending the value and lifespan of our knowledge. Your little advise today could set that mean person to limelight and may put food on their tables.

In one of my real-time research in Education, I discovered that of all teaching methods, collaborative method of instruction is the best.

How can collaborative Learning be achieved?

To achieve collaborative learning. Be ready to give what you have. Yes! when I give what I have and another person also gives what he or she has, then we'll all benefit from each other. Its no more time to be stingy with the little you have. When you get the little from every person you meet, it becomes a huge storage of knowledge.

EVERY FLOOD STARTED WITH A DROP OF WATER

We all have to play our part and the little donation from each one of us will become a surge of flow and storage of knowledge.

I am always inspired by the steemgigs image above. It is a constant reminder for me that am not meant to be passive about life, rather, to contribute my quota to make the world a better place as @ejemai often says. There is value inside everyone and such value is needed by another for development to continue. When you give it out and in turn receive what the other person has then collaboration has started.

EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD EXISTS IN A WEB, NOTHING STANDS ALONE

Letting other do critiques in your market plans lets you know the defects on it. The advantage of it is, it strengthens your market strategy and you can do some counter plan for that loop holes.

Yeah @glentoy. Critique is part of the growth process

It really does. People often think it as a negative thing but if you look it as a positive thing, it will help you grow a lot.
