All year round surfers are catching waves on the Eisbachwelle. This standing river wave is one of Munich's most popular tourist destinations, and it is free, because the surfers are out to surf. It is an odd place for such a thriving surf culture but once you have been you realise that it fits the Munich lifestyle perfectly.

I made this video with a different song, but due to music rights, I had to change the original song. Filmed on my DSLR camera.
