Basic steps of surfing

There are many sports and disciplines to exercise physically and mentally, but among all the decks, surfing is one of the ones I like the most. every day this sport has more followers in the world and the great majority of beginners are happy with their first practices.

In the world there are many places to surf some of the best known are Hawaii, California and Indonesia, but there are also very good waves in countries such as Portugal, Spain, Australia, Peru, Chile, Costarica, South Africa, New Zealand and Ecuador to name a few. In these countries there is surfing of all levels, but even the lowest level of surfing gets a reward smile for trying to run a wave so if you have not surfed it is never too late to start.

The practice of surfing involves slipping into the sea using the force of the waves using a board as a tool to achieve it.

Sometimes when we are learning it becomes a bit difficult to coordinate the rowing with the time we have to stand on the board so here I leave the basic movements to learn to surf.

When deciding to enter the water, it is necessary to define or discover with which foot we feel more comfortable in front and behind the table.

For this we must lie down in the sand and try to stand on a surfboard. We will soon know with ease which foot we prefer, forward and backward. knowing this we proceed to the exercise of standing on the surfboard

Following the previous image:
the foot that we decided to leave behind looks for the apollo in the table (in the photo of the example it is the right foot of the instructor)
the hands go up to the chest to help us get up

The next step is to lift our body off the board using the hands and the back support foot

The free foot (left foot of the instructor) must be placed between the hands before getting up completely

In this step we replace the foot that goes forward of the table by the hands and there we proceed to stand up.

From now on it is only to enjoy the strength of the wave and have fun as much as possible.

The more you practice, the more opportunities you have to surf and enjoy the strength of a wave

The waves travel thousands of kilometers to be caught by the surfers, they are part of the expression of the wind and therefore of the earth, we are like bits (0-1) traveling in the bosom of a wave, taking advantage of its impulse, its strength , its energy and charging us with happiness and good vibes.

I hope you can use these small and humble surf lessons and I hope that every day more people can experience this wonderful sport.
