Vietnamese Superstitions
Dog meat gives you bad luck unless if you already have bad luck. Two negatives or two bad lucks equals a positive. People believe in the Ying and Yang. The number 13 is bad luck.
Some of the superstitions are universal and seen in many countries and cultures around the world. Crossing a black cat, breaking mirror, going under ladders, dog meat, chicken, and many things are said to give us bad luck. When bad or good things happen, we try to make up excuses or explanations for them.
I've been learning about some of these superstitions from my Vietnamese English students these past five years in Vietnam since 2012, and now it is 2017 and I am living in Saigon.

hahaha..nice one. We Nepalis are very superstitious people too. But I believe most of the superstitions come from some coincidences in history.
