5 MINUTES FREEWRITE #ATTIC

The prompt for today is Attic

Doverun had always Been a believer of the supernatural. He believed that there were eyes around us, watching our every move and activities. that these so called wandering spirits could be beneficial to him. He had a book titled "The Supernatural" hidden away in the attic of their house. since this attic was barely used, he decided to convert there to his conjuring chamber. No one in the house knew what Doverun was up to, as most times they did see him come out of the attic. Maybe he just needed extra playing space they thought, not knowing that he was meddling in things way above his pay grade.

It so happened that one day when surfing the Web, Doverun came across a site that claimed to have a spell to tame a wandering spirit. Well, I guess it's one of those shitty stuffs you find on the Internet. But Doverun had his beliefs. which enamated from his choice of movies and books. Running towards the attic, he had decided to try out the spell to see if he could have a supernatural friend. Entering the attic, he drew the devils trap and set up little candles. The spell process had began. After mumbling words of the Internet page, there was a sudden lightning which caused power outage.

A scream was heard coming from the attic, it was Doverun. His siblings rushed over to see what was wrong, but Doverun wasn't there anymore. Clattering noises was heard from beneath, only for them to run downstairs and see Doverun standing upside down on the ceiling with a weird look. He had been possessed.
