Batman

Batman is a fictional superhero from the DC universe. Batman is also referred to as the Dark Knight, the Caped Crusader, and the World's Greatest Detective. His real name is Bruce Wayne who is a wealthy playboy philanthropist and owns Wayne Enterprises.

After he saw his parents murdered as a child he swore a vengeance against criminals. This lead to him training to physical and intellectual perfection and putting on the bat inspired suit to fight crime.

Batman is from Gotham City and this is where he operates. He is assisted by various characters including Alfred, his butler, and Robin, his sidekick. Batman has a large assortment of villains that he fights, such as The Riddler, The Penguin, The Scarecrow, Mr Freeze, Killer Croc, and his archenemy The Joker.

Batman does not have superpowers like the majority of superheroes, instead he uses his intellect, physical prowess/martial arts abilities, a wide array of technology and his wealth.
