If you saw the 450 Main event from round ten of the Monster Energy Supercross series this weekend at Daytona Raceway then you would have seen Monster Energy Yamaha’s Aaron Plessinger limping off the track. A big mistake in one the the rhythm sections kicked the bike and threw Plessenger over the handlebars. Luckily he managed to limp off the track and the Alpinestars Mobile Medical Unit were there instantly to help him out.

Plessenger took to social media to update everyone on his condition.

"Well.. as everyone seen I had a little get off in the main tonight, ended up breaking my heel,” he wrote on Instagram. “Not much info right now just xrays but I’ll keep y’all updated. Thanks for the love and support!"

This is a huge blow to his rookie season as he was just starting to string together some impressive rides and he picked up a career best of fifth at Atlanta last week. A heel injury is a nasty one to come back from quickly so rumours are already flying that he might not even be ready for the start of the outdoors...

With Barica also out due to a concussion i think we will see a stand in rider for next weekend...
