Statement - Ken Roczen

Hi Steemers,

So it's been a few weeks since Honda HRC Factory Racing rider Ken Roczen posted a statement about the struggles he was dealing with this season with an undiagnosed issue this season. The likable German has been suffering from fatigue during the races and the team were unsure why. After a series of successful weekends in a row it looks like Ken is getting past these but he still has not been back to his true self. Roczen has taken to social media to update the fans though.

"We finally have an off weekend. I'm trying to get my body better in the next couple weeks. I have been struggling with certain things for the past couple months. It's been really tough going to the races and feeling the way that I have been. We are slowly starting to figure out what's going on. Things like this take a long time as well as fixing it doesn't happen overnight either. I haven't talked much about it, because that doesn't make it any better on race day. When I get this fixed and get some consistency in my everyday program we will be in a good position to start winning. I know it. It's tough to get things better when you have an issue racing 15 weekends in a row."

He is currently in fourth place in the 450 SX Standings, twenty sic points behind Marvin Musquin but more importantly has a twenty eight point lead over Blake Bagget in fifth.
