Liberia, Costa Rica Super Bowl Get Away

Five of us departed January 30, 2020 for a weekend get away to Costa Rica. We stayed in Hotel Riu Place. The accommodations were good except I was in the lucky room where the pipe under the sink kept falling down. The temp was 91-93 everyday with pure sun no rain. The food was very good. The resort had five pools, lots of cabanas and chairs, a few feet to the ocean. They have shops for the shoppers and right down the hill are other shops as well. We went on an excursion that included: waterfalls, horseback/tractor riding, mud bath, hot springs, hiking, shopping and lunch at an authentic Costa Rica restaurant.. The girls could not go horseback riding because it was too windy. The facility had a gym and offered massages. Our excursion driver, Alex was very nice and handsome!
