Nice huge burning ball going down for the day, something we can always count on happening :) if your having a tough day you will always be in that moment when the sun sets and be there again😀 ...if that makes any sense haha.
Today I felt like I was in the sims - or some other kind of programmed reality... everything here is just so brand new and spacious, lots of new nice apartments everywhere, but it seems kind of dead. Even in rush hour etc this is not how I remember China. I’m not complaining as I don’t like the super busy times but it just has a kind Truman show feel!
I know that sounds strange but everything is all as if someone designed it on a program, threw some people in and pressed go! Like the sims! I never played the sims but I’ve seen it...

I do have a nice apartment this time :) it’s basically a nice hotel room!
However, I don’t know if I can get used to the ROCK HARD beds. It’s like sleeping on a solid wooden mattress... anyone from China who can explain? Anyone know what I mean? I wonder if it’s just China that has solid beds!

Rock hard beds are designed with the thought that you really should be up and doing and only sleeping for the shortest time. Up at 4am for Tai Chi and another day begins I would suggest getting a blow up air bed to go on top like you would use for camping. Or a hammock would be awesome and maybe even better. Swaying gently in a hammock is rather beautiful as I am sure you have experienced in the past.Do you have a living plant of some kind in your room? Do buy one if there isn’t one. The more the better. It is a very necessary, positive addition and essential for your health and happiness. I am not seeing much green in this concrete jungle.

Now that makes sense why they’re throughout China - work and don’t rest! The poor students have 12 hours of lessons a day :/ not surprised they want to fall asleep and not listen! Anyway..
I’m going to get some foam mattress protectors of some sort for my bed today, I would love a hammock but I would want to be outside in one. Oh how I need the outside so much right now :/
Unfortunately I haven’t seen much green either! However, there is a park nearby I’m going to check out in a few hours when the rain calms down. Also when the smog/cloud cover is low I can see mountains in the distance... I can’t wait to get there! Plus there are caves with waterfalls inside so I must go to them. Sadly this job is really full on BUT I can always find some time:)
No I don’t have a plant but I really should get one! I will try today. It’s quite dark in my room there is one big window but I need the lights on too. I need more greenery ASAP! X thanks for the comment :) ❤️🌱

yep I feel that we are in a world of The Sims , like to many coincidences , and try your best and think your winning than something happens to push you back ! maybe a rock hard bed helps your back : )
