Sunset In The Forestland
It is always fascinating to explore something new and exciting to spend our holidays and weekends. The history of working for consecutive days is not so old, and the division with 8-8-8 hours a day is also a new implementation after the industrial revolution. But usually, humans are fully compatible with a diversified lifestyle. But the most important thing to manage is the stress from our daily work.
In my childhood, I saw people were so active when they needed to work hard in their fields to grow crops for farmers, and related work for other occupations. They always find some spare time for spending leisurely after so much hard work from dawn to midday, and they were used to taking rest in the middle of the day and working the other half of the day when the sun moves in the western sky. That habit makes them move fit and healthy, both physically and mentally. Even during the rainy season when there is a limited number of works in their fields, they often spend the whole day just playing early and gossiping together in the rain. But they had some fixed works that they completed at any suitable time according to the weather and of their own interest, but they didn’t keep it undone.
I loved how you drew a connection between the traditional work schedule and the benefits of taking breaks in nature, like watching the sunset - it's a great reminder to incorporate more balance into our lives. 🌅💚
