Sunset and lava rocks, Portugal
Last week I made a backup on my computer of all the pictures that I made during my travels in my van in 2025. It was about 55 GB of pictures with a total of more than 3700 pictures. And I'm going to bore you with all of that 😅
I already started it and today I will show you some sunset pictures from the Portuguese coast. This was the coast line of the town of Viana do Castelo. This town is located about 25 kilometers south of the boarder of Spain and is divided by the river Lima which runs from the Serra das Meadas mountains in Spain.
The coast line the north of the city, consists of black lava-rock like rocks and they are sharp and slippery at the same time. But the are spectacular to take pictures of. It was very hard to do so because of the contrast between the light sky and the black rocks was enormous..
I love how you captured the contrast between the vibrant sunset sky and the dark, textured lava rocks, it's a great challenge for photographers! Your photos are truly stunning 🌅📸👏
