Class Action Lawsuit Launched After Sunscreens Recalled Over Benzene Traces

J&J recently decided to recall a variety of sunscreen items from the market over concerns related to a cancer-causing chemical known as benzene. The sunscreen products come from the brands Neutrogena and Aveeno and there are several of their sunscreens that have been recalled now because of this issue.
It didn't take long for a class action lawsuit to be filed against J&J now over that recall of the sunscreens.

Those who are behind the lawsuit want to find out answers to the possible delay in any recall for the products, they want to know what happened and what went wrong. It is pharmaceutical product safety lawyers who have allegedly filed the lawsuit which is a federal class action lawsuit on behalf of consumers who had purchased these items now being recalled from stores.

The lawsuit is going to be looking to find out how long J&J might have known about the potential issue with the traces of benzene in the tainted sunscreen items that were being sold around the country. It's alleged that the recall for those products comes weeks after lab results were published that indicated there was a problem with several of the sunscreen products.
