The Land of Living Skies

I live in the province of Saskatchewan, in Canada, and one of the slogans of our province is Land of Living Skies.
My crappy phone camera doesnt do this morning's sunrise any justice at all. Living here, I get to see this every day. Sunrise, sunset, they're never mediocre around here.

So I'm sure you all remember the dark time of about 10 hours ago when steemit.com was down. We were adrift, with no safe harbour to post our opinions. I found myself in the #general chatroom on steemit.chat, and whild there the time came for my morning farm chores to be done. So I live-steemed my chores to the kind folks I was chatting with! So they all know this stuff already.

First I fed my fattening sheep.
Then loaded my tractor with bales to take to the breeding sheep.

There they are, waiting hungrily.
They didnt believe me that I was driving a tractor, so I showed it to them after unloading bales
Yes, it's a lawn mower tractor. But it gets the job done!

Finally they asked which was my favorite sheep, so I got a pic with my very first sheep ever, Umbra, my beautiful black ewe!

So that was my day's chores! I later took my toddler to a photo shoot (which she most pleasantly declined to participate in after I got her all dolled up for it grrr) and to buy 15 dozen eggs and a package of toilet paper.

I promise its not for Halloween. It just happened to be what we were out of!

And see? Shouldnt she have just been cooperative and got her picture taken? She's so gosh darn cute
