You're lucky to find such a good bike path in your neighbourhood. There's some around here but most are unsuitable for roadbikes or are too crowded. Gotta live on the edge of the city for that and risk your life on country roads. The seats are a real problem.

It's around 7km from my house but there is a protected bike lane 90% of the way that doesn't really have parked cars or people walking on it.
