Cebu student dies after jumping off school's 7th floor
CEBU, The Carbon Police Station confirmed the death of the 17-year-old Grade 12 student of Asian College of Technology who jumped from the 7th floor of the university Thursday afternoon, September 28, 2017.
The Emergency Medical Services of Barangay Sambag 2 identified the student as Jonah Villarin, a resident of Hills View, Tisa, Labangon, Cebu City. Investigators are looking into family problem as possible reason behind the alleged suicide. Meanwhile, police placed under their custody Villarin's alleged boyfriend, who was mauled by the victim's father Thursday afternoon. The school administration has yet to issue a statement on the incident.
