Steemit Translate

Is it possible to add functionality that would allow a user the ability to post in their native language, and open it up to other multilingual users to translate the spirit and text of the post to other languages?

I phrase it that was as google translate does well to get a sense of content often, but a human touch brings the spirit out. This wouldn't need to be anything that takes away from the post, but maybe offers some users the ability to earn sweat equity into steem as well. Prehaps a small portion of the rewards for upvotes received on the translated pages as it is possible it would never have been seen by those people.

Social media is about taking down borders. I want to hear from these people. I think, granted without the tech knowledge required to do it, that this wouldn't be the hardest thing to implement.
