New Aloe peglerae seedling
I got this beautiful young Aloe peglerae seedling as part of my swap deal and although it doesn't look like much yet, this is an extremely attractive small aloe. Below is a picture of one in flower that I took when I visited an aloe nursery some time ago.
This species is native to the area I live in but sadly, it is now listed as an endangered species thanks to all the people who have dug these out of the wild to grow in their gardens and urban expansion that has destroyed their natural habitats. Although some people believe that digging plants out of the wild to grow them in gardens will save them, it's a sad reality that many don't survive transplantation and most people don't plant them in the conditions that they like.
It's far better to grow wild plants from seed and leave the parent plants in the wild.
I've never seen aloe bloom. It is very interesting for me.
You will see more soon
Es hermoso ese Aloe. Le felicito por su intercambio. Espero que todas se adapten a su nuevo ambiente.
It should be fine, because it is a young plant
Beautiful spike red flower it has...
I like the density of the flowers, that's unique to this species
I completely agree!
If you are taking plants from the wild thinking your doing the right thing your delusional!

Yup
Oh! No! Digging plants out of their natural surroundings!
It’s like people climbing trees in forests here to steal wild orchids for selling in the black market. These are very expensive and they usually die because of the heat and too much watering with liquid fertilizer!!
Many wild orchids all died in my friend’s garden last month!! Shame!
