DON'T WAIT...

Start a business while you're young; almost everybody thinks about it at some point, why not straight up just do it?

There will never be a perfect time. It doesn't mean you shouldn't take on a job. It doesn't mean you should start the next Facebook. Just build something.

If you feel you don't have an idea yet, you're either not thinking hard enough or you're not looking close to you. There's a business waiting very close to you; you just don't know it yet.

It's sad that we live in a country where the rich prefer to stay away from the poor and rather flaunt their riches in everyone's faces. Worse still where the uber rich got there by corruption and illegal means.

And then those who choose to motivate others are looked down upon...

But that's the beauty of building a business. You can play your own small role in bringing about change instead of waiting for the government.

The government never truly helps anyone but themselves. So you might as well quit blaming the government. Throughout history the most millionaires are made during recessions.

For those who've gone to school and are starting something, well done. But remember, it's okay to start small...but don't stay small for too long. They say time waits for no man, but in this day and age, time flies 3x faster.

Think like an entrepreneur. That's the real reason you went to school; not to become another cog in the system but to better it.

You don't have to start an online business (even though I recommend it) but learn to leverage the power of the Internet for whatever business you decide to go into. You can't escape it.

Get a mentor. Read books. Attend events. Practice public speaking. Learn new skills.
It's funny how schools don't emphasize this stuff when these are the actual things you need to succeed in today's world.

I can't overemphasize the importance of the company you keep. If you're young and you don't have friends that dream big and act big, cut them off. You don't need them at this point in your life.

If you're still in school or in service, realize how lucky you are. Your safety net is still wide. But don't settle.

Start drawing up your strategy and get ready to take off once you're done.

Having a job isn't safe. Having a small business isn't safe as well. Understand that these are both means to an end.

Financial safety rests at the top of the ladder - the investors and big business owners. That's where you should set your sights on.

Don't stay broke too long or for the wrong reasons. It's super hard to stay motivated when you're broke.

It's okay to be creative, but get your money right first.

I just hope someone out there takes something out of this and make some sense out of it.
