How to improve your life in 2018 – 3 little steps that will help you to do this

Hello Steemians

A new year rises and everyone has some serious new year resolutions that he or she is going to complete to the maximum …. NOT!
For those people and some who are seeking for a better living in 2018 I've got three little changes in your life that will have a great return for you if you follow them for some time.

So let´s start with the first one:

Read at least 10 pages a day!

How many books did you read last year? Most of us read a very little amount to almost none books. Change this behavior and educate yourself with small steps.
Imagine how your bookshelf is filled with books that you read every month. Every month you did something for your brain and your success in life. Every month about 300 pages of wisdom and motivation to get the life that you always wanted.

Like I said before, read 10 pages at least but feel free to increase the number of pages if you've got more time to read.

The second thing you should implement in your life is one day every week that you spend with your partner.

I know that we are spending many hours weekly with our partner but how is the quality of this time? How often do you show your partner the respect she or he deserves or your true feelings during this time?
To have a better relationship have at least one day or evening at that you are showing how thankful you are for the time that you had or will have with your partner. Go out for a special dinner, prepare together for a marathon or at least organize a nice evening at home.

In one year you will have spent 52 days dedicated to your relationship. Trust me, you might be spending more time in social media rather than invest your precious time in your relationships.

The last one I want to talk about is to eat less candy or junk food !

Almost every one of us enjoys from time to time or even daily some candy, chocolate bars or a nice slice of pizza.
This won't make you an ill person unless you are moving enough and the rest of your eating habits are good. If not, there might be a big chance that those tasty things made you fatter in the last years.
If you want to burn one kilo of fat, you need to eat about 7000 calories less than you are burning through the day. One Mars bar (about 50 grams) has about 230 calories. So if you stop to eat one every day for a whole year for example you will be able to lose up to 11 kilos of body fat.

For those that don't believe me:
One year has 365 days. On each day you might be eating one bar with 230 calories.
365 x 230 = 83950
You have to divide this number with 7000 and you've got the amount of fat that might be burned during one year ( 83950 / 7000 = 11,99 kilos (we don't want to be too optimistic that is why I wrote 11 kilos)).

I would appreciate if you give these advice a try and / or post your opinion on this small steps right under this post.
